Become a Board member

The greatest contribution to a nonprofit organization is effective board members. Effective Board members help the organization to reach its full potential by creating sound strategic plans that maximize the mission and secures the organization’s future and finances.
We are open to those who bring fresh ideas to the table and offer additional skill sets. We have several criteria for board members. We are looking for people who are passionate and committed to the issues, connected to the communities we serve, willing, and able to dedicate time to get the job done.

Volunteer

Behind every great nonprofit organization are great volunteers. The civic spirit of volunteers has been the foundation of our organization. The support we receive is humbling and the workforce saves us thousands of dollars. Volunteers help with fundraising, administrative tasks, and operations, and they help spread the word about the mission of the organization. These are people just like you who are offering their time and expertise. When you volunteer, you’re partnering with us to help young adults reach their full potential as independent and productive people. You will gain a sense of accomplishment, pride, and identity. You will meet new people and help build a community, gain knowledge of understanding other ways of life, advance your career by improving job prospects. Every volunteer opportunity has its own set of tasks, and some of those might require you to learn new skill sets and challenge yourself. This means you’ll be keeping your brain busy and limber!
